Barons Dedications
During the annual Declaration of Vintage celebrations, a dedication is made to honour the memory of a Baron who made a major contribution to the Barossa. A plaque on the footpath is unveiled, revealing the dedication which summarises this Baron’s lifetime of achievement.

Barossa Viticulturist of the Year
This award recognises a Barossa viticulturist who puts emphasis on producing premium Barossa grapes and who has made or is making a significant contribution to the industry in the areas of sustainability, research, quality, innovation or technical excellence. The award was first presented in 1987.
Barossa Winemaker of the Year
This award recognises a Barossa winemaker who utilises premium Barossa grapes and who has made or is making a significant contribution to the industry in the areas of sustainability, research, quality, innovation or technical excellence. The award was first presented in 1998.
